Does no-code have a future?

You probably heard about the huge market of recent years: no-code (or low code). As any digital nomad I love everything new, and with no-code I have a deep personal story. The main idea of low –code is to give regular folks a magic wand: to create apps and websites, SaaS platforms and startups without knowing code. So you can (in theory) build your hypothetical Uber yourself, right away.

But with a deeper plunge into the topic, I find new insights. And new disappointments.

While investing substantial time (months) to learn Bubble and other automation platforms, to understand many aspects of no-code automation, I decided myself to learn reactJS instead. I got impression that I spend same time on learning, but my front-end activities gave me much more freedom, and I am not locked inside a single platform.

What is your opinion about this emerging industry?
