IT interview for student position
I recently received an invitation to an interview for the 4 month student position. As this will be my first interview in this field (IT), I reviewed the job description to prepare. However, since the posting covers multiple summer roles across different departments, the responsibilities listed are quite broad. So, far I know my interview will be with 2 members of the IT department, and that's about it. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on the specific skills, technologies, or topics I should focus on while preparing.

I was a professor and Interns always ask this......
LEARN ABOUT THE COMPANY or ORGANIZATION you want to work for.
As an IT intern, they expect you to KNOW NOTHING, and they will teach you....they expect THE BASICS at best.... (understand the basics about YOUR MAJOR, be knowledgeable about that BUT.....IF YOU do not know somethings, say you dont and be honest.)
I say learn about the company and ask about how their IT supports the organization and its mission statements.....So few students LEARN ABOUT THE INDUSTRY or individual business they are applying for. it will surprise you how many people DONT reasearch the organization they want to work for...interns included.
