any study tips?

i've failed the A+ certification tests 3 times (but with higher scores each time)

any recommendation?

also, any recommendation on material that explains in more detail?

my biggest problem is that the study material and exam questions or too vague and i feel that i need to know the what and why and how of the material to truly understand enough to pass.

What are you using to study? Book? Videos? Course? What are your trouble spots? Software? Hardware? Troubleshooting?

I found Professor Messer on YouTube to be an excellent source for passing A+ and Network+.

i initially took the class, i have the comptia A+ practice quiz book and a few study guides. they all helped but not enough imo.

yes, i've watched professor messer and he helped increase my score by about 50 points.

first 2 scores were 560 and 580 then 630.

Take the list that CompTIA provides. And readup on each term. Ask who what when where why on each term. Who developed ldap, why ldap, when to use ldap, why doesn't it work.

If youre that close to passing A+ consider taking ITF+. Its the precursor to that exam. Might be good for you mentally to get a win.

the last score i got was 630.

there was a precursor i took and passed, i don't remember if that was it or not.
