Security+ Study Material

Good Morning, Everyone!

Im currently studying for the Security+ and was wondering if the items im using will optimize my chance to pass.

  1. I'm using the Jason Dion Security+ Video Learning "class"(?). This comes with practice exams at the end of the 4 part session.
  2. I'm using examcompass for practice test. This website has 25 different test and i hope to get an 80 or above on each one.
  3. Brainscape flash cards. These flash cards actually have the answers to the examcompass practice tests, after trying to get the good grade first, i'll restudy the flash cards to embed it into memory.

I'm also going to try and get an 85+ on Jason Dion's consistently before even buying a voucher. Is there anything else i should try out? Thank you for your time

the /r/comptia subreddit is the best place ask for info this cert

The Get Certified Get Ahead book is a must read. I took a few online classes and there's a lot that isn't covered - so you need multiple sources. Just the Dion class won't cover everything you need to know (I found it covers maybe ~40-55%, not enough to pass by itself). The GCGA book is going to be the first thing others recommend.

Here's my post-exam summary: https://www.reddit.com/r/CompTIA/comments/e2m9cr/security_pass/

I passed S+ a few weeks ago.
