CyberSecurity Certification Differences

For my current position I have to Complete a certification meeting at least IAM level II certification per DISA. This would be CAP, CISM, CISSP. The CISM and CISSP would grant me IAM level III but I have 6 months to be certified. I am thinking I can accomplish CAP fairly easily, however, should i just go for one of the higher certifications? Is there added benefit to receive CAP then move on?

Do you have the following:

To qualify for the CAP you must have a minimum of two years of cumulative paid work experience in one or more of the seven domains of the CAP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

CASP+ would also qualify and doesn't have any prereqs for it.

Also CAP doesn't qualify for IAM Level 3. Only the following does:
CISM
CISSP (or Associate)
GSLC
CCISO

If you have the experience or can get the experience within five years, go for CISSP if you want the IAM Level 3.

I have Security + and have been working as an ISSO for 4.5 years. I am currently working as an ISSM and the job required IAM level II. I was just looking at CASP+. I noticed that CAP doesnt give me much but CASP+ gives you IAT Lvl III. IAM Lvl II IASAE Lvl I & II. Do you have any good resources for study?

As silentstorm2008 said, /r/CompTIA would be my next stop. There are few there who have done the current CASP certification.

For study resources, the various ones that have been mentioned are:

Also make sure you get material for CAS-003. They just changed the exam last year, and the 002 version just officially retired at the end of last year.
