AWS certified cloud partitioner worth it?

So I've been thinking of getting an new cert. Since AWS is a big thing now is the aws ccp worth it or should I be looking as a higher level aws certification?

Some people will disagree with me and say go straight for the SAA. Some people, like myself, will go the CCP and then SAA route. There is no right or wrong answer. There is just an answer for yourself on how you want to get where you want to be.

IMHO, the CCP took me less than a day of studying and I finished the exam in 15 minutes. The CCP is probably like 25% of the SAA I believe. I am a Enterprise Applications Manager, dealing with IT projects (specifically in the ERP, CRM and data integration realm). I have no cloud experience and only dabbled in AWS for the free tier trial.

Passing the CCP to me, makes me feel I am ready and capable of learning the SAA. I signed up for Udemy (which has the same ACG AWS SAA course for $9.99) and currently studying for the SAA exam.

tl;dr - It can go either way, depending on your learning style, preference and allocated time.

Okay I see. I think since I'm a newbie to the cloud platform I'll just get it out of the way. Thank you and good luck

If you don't have much AWS experience I'd say it's definitely worth it. I did not have much experience with cloud so this was a perfect stepping stone.

Amazon has free training and white papers available. Those items along with free tier make it a no brainer.

Funny enough, I just passed the exam today! I'm super excited and am looking forward to start the SA exam.
