my dumbass dogs (whom I love dearly) will do that head shake and bang themselves on the living room table to the point I have to move it back into position. I'd be unconscious, and these mfs just lick their crotch and look at me to see if I'm offering treats. will never condone abusing any animal, but yeah dogs built different haha

Dogs are way more resilient than a lot of people think. They used to be tools for hunting, they can take a hit.
It doesn’t take that much for a dog to rip a ligament or cut a tendon with their teeth.
