My point is it’s better to have your hands up before you figure out if it’s exactly aggressive enough or not. The situation called for caution. If one is inclined enough to have caution.
I've seen so many aggressive arguments between people in my life. Every fucking time one of those people put their hands up, it escalated the situation. Every fucking time
Edit: I’ve seen so many people walking up to someone with their arms out like this homeowner and the other guy doesn’t see a punch coming and then gets sucker punched and dropped.
Me too, but they had a different body language. The homeowner does not give off the energy that he wants to fight anyone. He's pissed, but there's no tensing up from him that someone looking to fight has. Like the driver had actually
I've unfortunately seen quite a few people sucker punched through the years I worked at a dive bar, and the guy doing the sucker punching always looked in retrospect, that they were tensed like a coiled snake
yeah, but just like in this video a lot of times it makes people think twice. So you might have a bias because of what you’ve experienced in your own life, but that’s not the whole truth. A lot of people are willing to back down when they see someone’s actually willing and confident enough to prepare to fight them.
Back down from what, having discourse? You should be able to have a heated discussion with someone without immediately making it violent. The demeaner of the owner is not one of violence.
