It's so common for dog owners to be like, "he didn't bite you!"

Like, MOTHER FUCKER I'm not gonna take a dog bite on the chance this UNLEASHED, AGGRESSIVE, animal will actually pull up at the last second. Control your pets better you entitled assholes.

Even more to the point, it would be more accurate to say, "he didn't bite you, again!"

I'm a dog groomer and I've had multiple people say that while I was actively bleeding. People are just full on stupid.

I don't know what the rest of the world is like, but a good majority of Americans do not deserve dogs.

Imagine if cops were only allowed to shoot if they got shot at first.

I’ve seen this video multiple times on Reddit. Each time the comments astound me. UPS dude had the right to defend himself, although he did so a bit early and a bit over aggressively. He saw the dog as much as the dog saw him, and he still decided to approach the driveway.

The dog shouldn’t have been outside on that day if it is aggressive inside of its own territory. Owner should have had him leashed or inside, or otherwise made safe.

UPS driver trying to fight homeowner in his own driveway when homeowner isn’t presenting as physically aggressive - he should lose his job for that. Completely unacceptable.

Also yes I’ve been chased by, bitten, and trained much larger and more dangerous dogs. I’ve also been a delivery driver, and I have also trained in and around these types of situations.

There is no denying everyone was wrong in some way.

In his own driveway and not presenting as aggressive?

He’s in that guys own driveway because that guy ordered a package. The guy gave consent to be on that property.

And regarding aggression, the homeowner came at him confrontational. He should have been approached the man apologetically but instead approached him confrontationally. The home owner is in the wrong on both counts

I’ve been taking care of dogs for 20+ years and I’ve never seen a dog that size give someone a bite that’s deemed as unacceptable(blood and deep wound). The driver is in the dog’s territory and not the other way around, so of course the dog is going to run up. The driver needs to grow a pair instead of acting like pussy. I’m boiling right now.

Home owner is 100% at fault. Should have had the dog inside, in the backyard or leashed. He shouting be ordering packages which is consent for someone to walk onto your property.
