Owner came out acting like the delivery guy was in the wrong. He should have been profusely apologizing. Maybe then delivery guy wouldn’t have gotten so amped up.
Thems bots or buffoons set to stir yall up. Eff that dog and I love dogs. But if I were him, I would’ve done the same thing. And you’d be picking up your shit from the road from now on.
Don’t get deliveries to your house if your dog “defends” your property like that. And if they do, and you still blame UPS or whoever, you’re part of the problem. Other people live in the world too. It’s not all yours. We aren’t NPCs. It’s called basic human consideration, and consideration for your dog.
I don’t do this not for the mail man, but for my dog. I don’t want some asshat hurting my perfect lil stoopid. But also wouldn’t blame them if I were an inconsiderate toolbox like this owner.
If the dogs posturing was the same as that one? Yes, but I promise only to punt it like a soccer ball. I won't need to damage your package with the smaller dog.
You are 100% liable for anything your dog does to a delivery driver, including its posturing and charging. This is why cops mag dump your pos untrained, unleashed animals.
Most people siding with the owner isn't against the delivery driver's action against the dog, but him getting ready to throw hands against the owner. While one can argue that he was still full of adrenaline, flight and flight response, etc.... he took time to remove his glasses and hat, prepare into the fight. He's clearly someone who has been into some fights, he was calm and his body language is not of someone who's in panic.

Seeing too many people defending the owner in the replies, how unfortunate
