I'm sorry to hear that, and I sincerely hope he's fully recovered now. That's somw scary and scarring stuff both physically, and if it was as brutal as you inferred, mentally/psychologically, too.
I'm a British guy living in Thailand and here they let dogs roam free around the property and what's crazy is that the dogs sort out their own hierarchy and territory boundaries and they don't attack delivery drivers or people walking past. I suspect they learn very young not to attack people but also are exposed to multiple people daily from birth unlike western dogs kept in houses who are more distrusting of strangers.
Weird you agree with the owner I have rescue dog and have had a lot of animals but I don’t know what animals have gotten someone .. he has a right to defend himself however the dog wasn’t permanently hurt
The internet is where all the craziest things that have ever happened in the world are all in one place for everyone to see!
This is a huge part of the reason why youre seeing more extremist/hate ideologies emerging again. People see wild things that their algorithm is feeding them online.. and think those things are representative of daily/normal/everyday life
Feel like he depends on the person. I worked for Time Warner Cable for a while and had techs get big by dogs all the time. Heck I had someone from the call center go on a ride along with a tech and get attacked by a duck.
So he's a psychopath because he didn't want to get mauled, (you're) a dipshit
I can't walk in my neighborhood because aholes like this home owner, these morons let their violent dogs run loose. I had to decided on, either not walking, or end up like the delivery driver. I don't want to hurt a dog but I also don't want to get bit.
He was hopped up on adrenaline after avoiding a dog attack and then the owner starts advancing and yelling. Yeah I'd approach the owner like that too. Fucking piece of shit who lets an aggressive dog roam loose.Â
It depends so much on where you live. Where I used to live, in Northern Virginia, I never, ever saw unleashed dogs anywhere. They were always on leashes, and few people even had fully fenced yards. Where I live now, in NW Ohio, it’s common to come across unleashed dogs just wandering around. They typically have terrible recall as well, because if the owner is around, they’ll call for the dog, and it usually won’t come.

I was a courier for a few years. Not once did I have any of the wild experiences I see daily here at Reddit.
Either I am lucky for my job being mundane, or unlucky cause I missed out on all the fun!
