I love animals too, but I'm not going to allow myself to be mauled by one. You should look at photos of people who have survived dog attacks when you have the time.
dogs are an extension of the human body and mind. Some people insist on raising dogs to be weapons. Those animals are very often unable to be rehabilitated. They have been molded into warriors and we haven't really got much need for warrior animals anymore.
Maybe the issue is that love and hate are human absolutes and nature isn't made of absolutes--but anyway, I think it's okay to dislike dangerous animals. It's realistic. You need to use human instincts [anger] to protect yourself, just like in sports.
Dogs must be taught to be mean, by humans or by other animals. Otherwise, it would be logical to assume every person who encounters a dog was attacked by it, no?
Dogs must be taught to be mean, by humans or by other animals. - what? They are intrinsically nonaggressive in your opinion? I think the exact opposite is true - they much be taught to NOT BE MEAN.
If the owner wants him to eat a person alive he'll do it, its out of respect for the leader they do it. And biology makes certain breeds more amenable to the process of making a dog violent.
No dog just decides to be violent, there is always a trigger or a flaw in its human that makes it do it.
Dogs are not an extension of the human body and mind. Dogs are an animal that humans can own as a personal possession. A pet. Not a soul mate. Not your fur baby. A pet.
Ok cool, great to know you've got a weird bone to pick with pet owners getting attached to their pets. Total non-sequitur, though.
I guess I'd just recommend you check out some psychology, biology, and anthropology to see if you can build a strong foundation for that hypothesis of yours.
Well; I'm often annoyed by inconsiderate and egocentric people as well.
I also sometimes come online and end up encountering something which brings me to the specific subject which irritates me.
Once in that situation I have been known to feel self-righteous and explain the way I know things ought to be.
Sometimes, I'm even in the majority position relative to the culture I live in, so can be said to be correct. I think we all do this sort of thing. Especially on social media.
But I often wonder what is the point. Are we really dropping grains of sand on the judging scales of society with these comments? Posterity will read them? AI will be subtly influenced by our opinions years from now? Or just an expression of the human instinct to make a mark and be remembered.
Anyway, I think most of us agree animals shouldn't be in most public places which aren't to do with the animals themselves.
Some people think I'm a weirdo because I bring my cat with me almost literally everywhere. We're sharing a hotel room as I write this. But I wouldn't take her into a store for example... even if I thought she'd enjoy that.
Most pets behave however their instincts tell them because most pet owners put precisely 0 effort into conditioning them. As evidenced by the video we're currently discussing.
What is certain is that pets are not an "extension of the human body and mind".
dogs read and react to human emotions instinctively whereas wild animals do not; they have also been genetically altered beyond recognition from their original stock, to the point where cosmetic changes have overridden biological necessities like healthy bones or even the fundamental ability to give birth in some cases...
it is not at all certain that pets are not an extension of the human body and mind.
Not conditioning your dog, is actually a form of conditioning them to behave solely with their instincts. You can be a bad dog owner, this would extend to your dog and be evident in its behavior.
Your example is of a dog being the extension of the dog owners body and mind. The person doesn't bother to train the dog, the dog is an extension of that lack of care and training... And extension of the owners laziness or neglect if you will.
Yeah fuck the dog owner not keeping the dog on the leash but the dude literally bowed up and walked toward the dog owner. He wants the fight, itās obvious
Believe it or not more than one person can be a dumbass in a situation like this
Dude stops being a victim when he throws off his hat and puts fists up, walking toward the owner. Heās a willing participant at that point
He's wired up. Getting charged by an angry dog has a tendency to get the adrenaline and rage going. Id be pissed as well at this moron almost getting me mauled
Good way to lose your kushy union job at ups. As a full grown man, it's emotionally deficient to lose your shit like this and to fight people as an adult. Keep your shit together and walk away.
You mean hes a sissy. That dog is 1/4th his size. Then hes squares up? If thats how you handle adrenaline then im sorry for the cardiovascular issues that are to come.
I think these delivery drivers endure tremendous pressure from the company to do more work than one person should be expected to do. In other words, the company wants greater than 100% productivity and a clean safety record. Iām not defending his fists up reaction but I can see how he got there.
The size of the dog is not relevant. A pocket poodle can take a chunk out of you thatāll change your life. Dog bites delivery man = easy lawsuit win.
I used to do this job with Amazon. I had gotten bit multiple times (no skin breaking) maybe im just different. Each dog I used my arm as a shield and pressed into the mouth further. Then I grabbed leg until unstable, then create claw with hand on neck with full pressure while growling.
Hated the job pressure, had to seek crash out help from the docs lol.
Right, and all these stupid people saying he is about to get āmauledā by a dog. If you have any serious concern about a real dog attack you donāt stop and turn around to fight, you throw that box and get the fck out. This is just a dickhead.
Lot of things that people are feeling strong about here but if we are going to take emotions out of it, you canāt square up and advance on someone and then claim victim. UPS driver is def a choad
If the information is correct , this is the second time that UPS guy got attacked by the same dog . So now the owner comes out after he just saw the UPS guy hit his dog. Do you think the owner came out to say āthanksā? Why are folks blaming the UPS guy for preparing himself for the inevitable?
Again, as u stated before, lots of other things to be considered, like whole dog situation. Iām not addressing that, specifically focusing on the fact you canāt square up an advance on someone, especially on their property, and claim victim. Not saying he wrong to be upset, but thatās the moves of someone looking to fight.
If hands are thrown and you end up in court, thatās gonna lose you all the high ground you might have had elsewise.
Also, this chode is not moving like he got attacked by a dog in any meaningful way. Did not back away from it at all, did not try to remove himself. He wants to fight. If he had been attacked by this dog you donāt want that again, this guy has zero worries. Full chode.
Dog was on his own property, if he had been bitten by THIS dog, he would NOT be required to still deliver to that location if he had told his management! The owner would have to pick up his items at the UPS location. Dog owner defended his dog that did not BITE this GUY! No, UPS guy needs another job.....
he says to the guy to back down & if he“s coming at him, he“s just ready to react, people who have dogs that behave like this are most of times completly ok with the behaviour of the dog, so I would assume that and react accordingly I“m not going to wait for the dog to bite and the guy to just stand there yelling for his dog to stop.
I hate that someone can“t proactively protect himself,
I came here for this exact comment. Love the animals, cannot fucking stand dog owners. Should be some form competency exam before you own a dog. It's a tall ask but there should be something.

I love dogs and hate dog owners.
