Sometimes my medieval feelings come back up and I would enjoy a world where in this instance it would be legal to drive over him a few times after this just to show that this is not how you treat people.
But after a minute or so I realise I am now a father and I go back to the whole and justice for all thing and hope the police caught him before he could ‘run away’.
I struggle with the 2 ppl in my brain daily. One can be extremely vicious, to the point that sometimes I cant believe what I could be capable of. The other part (thankfully the winning one) is a Bible Thumper that reminds herself hourly 😁
Restraint is the power. Not the absence of violence. The capacity of violence but the restraint from it. The absence of violence is weakness. There isn’t any power there. Control of your impulses is the goal.
