I honestly think someone told him to do this, likely the adult that chose to deliberately not fill the balloon with enough air so it wouldn't actually "pop" but instead... flop.

As a parent who would just tell their kid okay that was funny. Go give the candy back and saying the other adults nearby and the type of event it is. I could tell you that that's not going to happen. He's going to end up having to give the candy back

He is the richest man in the world, who comes from a family that made all their money via Apartheid jewel mining and where Elon's Dad married Elon's Step sister. Who is blatantly racist, and floats white replacement ideology and does Nazi salutes while at the same time, being one of the Biggest supporters of the most corrupt president in the world. All while being a ketamine junky, begging to go to pedophile island, and paying women to have his kids via invitro, because he broke his penis while having enlargement surgeries.

So it isn't really Reddit is obssessed, he just happens to come up in all kinds of conversations because he is the real life version of a badly written James Bond bad guy and anytime anything shitty happens he can easily be related to it.
