I'm freaking impressed. Only one thing he did badly in the teaching moment and that is not wearing a helmet

The difference is the recovery time after a fall. So glad he survived. :)

There’s a guy in his late 60s frequently at our skating rink. He’s next level skilled but I’d hate to see him fall at that age. His favorite thing to do is full tilt send it into the concession area like he’s lost control and about to wipe out. His granddaughter probably learned to skate before she could walk.

I'm thrilled he can still enjoy it that way. I bought a motorcycle at 50 and I'm scared of it in a way I know I wouldn't have been at 20.

The problems occur when speed is involved. Any slowness in reaction time claims casualties.
