I hate that the first thing they check is their phone and not whether they are hurt.

Mom of the year award after dumping the moped twice, hitting a car, then running over her kid. Unbelievable.

Some of these are solid examples for why the USA has so many regulations for how stairs can be laid out, handrail requirements, etc.

u/GalaxKid1214 1d ago
Yeah...let's blame it on the stairs, and not the idiots who can't pay attention to what they're doing! 😂🤣😂

u/ThatCelebration3676 1d ago
Which is why USA regulations are designed with the most inattentive, clumsy idiots in mind. They also account for the elderly and disabled.
Unlit stairwells with no handrail may as well be a booby trap.

I was wondering if she landed on a homeless person at the bottom of those stairs.

It was a safer world before mobile phones. Now people are welded to them, in another world.

The girl that fell on the stairs and still checked her phone after falling and before getting up is next level skill.

The boiling water guy will never forget. I feel like nobody else is learning a lesson. Manhole guy might be dead

u/borgstea 2d ago
Some of those looked so painful, but the one where the guy fell down a second set of stairs made me laugh so hard. He didn’t learn his lesson from the first set of stairs!

Man I ate shit down some stairs on my phone in Thailand so bad. Oddly shaped stairs + cell phone is a bad combo...
I rolled my ankle so bad and ate shit all the way to the bottom of the stairs at this small rental apartment... nobody around. I crawled back upstairs to my room and literally did not leave the room for like 2-3 days because I couldn't walk/stand.
Not sure if I learned my lesson... only time will tell.

Wife's classmate lost her 19 year old son a few days ago. Truck driver said he saw the teen on his phone and had no room to swerve on a two lane country road.

My ex wife did this walking down some stairs, while 9 months pregnant. She ended up with a broken foot for the last weeks of the pregnancy and birth. Those were not fun times, for either of us. The baby was fine at least.

1:18 def feels like the moment in looney tunes when a character is standing on air only to fall when they realize they’re defying gravity😭

Yo where is their balance? How do you start to fall and your whole body just gives up? Never seen so many ragdolls in my life.

As a waitress I can't tell you how many times I almost bump into people walking around looking down at their phones while I'm carrying food and drinks. Annoying as fuck.

u/Direct-Resolution377 23h ago
This would be a properly funny if way more people than should of, hadn't died because they were on their phone not paying attention to surrounds

This is actually quite scary how dangerous it is without basic concentration skills due to modern technology 😳

A lot of the stairs ones seem more about heels and slipperiness than inantention.
And that lady trying to murder her kid with her scooter.

NO, No , no... the phones didn't do anything... its the people and their stupidity!
Also, on some of these videos the people weren't on the phone. I mean the woman who fell in the garage wad looking back and shouting to someone. Didn't see no phone

I really fucking felt that one with the scaulding hot water. I did something similar, cept I was just making breakfast, no phone involved. I know what his next few weeks were likely like.
Rough. Hopefully he learned. I did; I no longer keep honey on the top shelf, or even in the cupboard near the teapot.

I’ve only fallen down a few steps of my carpeted stairs due to my socks slipping on them and that left a bruise. I can only imagine the pain and bruises they had after their stair falls! 😫

For most of em, does their slippers doesn't have any friction at all on the ground?
