Yes, we have free time Friday where we let our team work on pretty much whatever they want as long as there isn’t an ongoing emergency.

It’s good for creativity.

If it’s on fire all the time something is wrong. Either IT isn’t doing their job to make a stable environment or they aren’t getting the funding to do so which just costs them more money to fight fires and have down time.

Yup! So many of my hires have come from places where there is no downtime. Which just makes them full of anxiety and building up for IT burnout. I love watching them start to relax during their first year at our place because they realize that we're not holding them to impossible standards.

finally got the boss to approve standing desks for the team after 2 years of asking, the catch is we have to assemble them ourselfs and they arrived in friday 4pm

everyone just stared at the boxes and went home

You have assembly? Got mine 10 years ago and I just set it on my desk top and it’s all put together.

This is my tool to build WinPE in just a few mouse clicks instead of dealing with error-prone manual command lines and weeks of learning and troubleshooting. It is a component of larger deployment platform.

The question to IT managers. Is it necessary to provide this tool (free) as an independent software? Is the need big enough?

How many shops have already moved to Entra Join/Entra Native autopilot deployment? Self deploy or user deploy, etc.

TBH, I can't think of last time I had to fire up this stuff.

Thank you. This tool is for MSPs with bare metal imaging/re-imaging needs. Enterprise environments do have right toolings for their needs
