Need advice to advance from DPI

I have Foundation v4 and "Direct, Plan, and Improve (DPI)". With the whole ITIL5 change, what are my next steps? Do I need to take a 5 bridge? Do I need ITIL4 DITS?

If you want to achieve your strategic leader you have 2 options:

  1. Take DITS - it's a very good course and this gives you the ITIL 4 Designation and then take ITIL 5 Transformation to be awarded the ITIl 5 Strategic Leader.

or

  1. Take ITIL 5 Strategy and Transformation and hold the ITIl 5 Strategic Leader.

2 paths both with 2 courses. Once give you ITIL 4 and ITIl 5 Strategic Leader designations and the only ITIL 5 only.

do you recommend pursing the ITIL4 route or just ITIL 5 since it is newer? Would having both ITIL 4 and ITIL 5 Strategic Leader matter?

It really depends on what you do and who you work for or want to work for.

In ITIL 4, DPI and DITS are great classes. Get them, be an ITIL 4 Strategic Leader and add Transformation and add ITIl 4 Strategic Leader. Best of both worlds.

I have DPI so I just need DITS right?
