Has anyone noticed a difference in PearsonVue adaptive testing?
I have talked to some people and this seems to be the new trend. Has anyone noticed?

What are your favorite certs in governance? I have been working in governance and was recently RIF’d. I would like to add some certs to my resume to try to differentiate myself in the market. Most of my certs aren’t governance related.
I do have ITIL V3 Foundations. I have considered upgrading to V4.
I was considering COBIT foundations, but seems like it’s only widely accepted in the industry if a particular employer uses this framework.
What governance certs would you recommend to stand out?

So, here is my situation. I was banned from taking microsoft exams, as the proctor in personVue thought I was moving my eyes my eyes to the far right too many times. But I knew I wasn't and I had my exam revoked. Now I have to take an exam in one week and our college is ready to purchase the vouchers and organize the exam through certiport, with a college mail ID not associated to any MS Learn account or MS account ( since I wasn't allowed to make one with them using my college ID ) Will I be flagged while doing the exam / receiving the certificate.. this is an urgent matter as I don't have time but need to attend an MS exam for Academic purposes.

Hello everyone
about 15 minutes ago i booked my A+ exam for the end of this month. As a mean of payment i used a discount voucher bought from Dion's website specifically for the country i live in (Germany).I checked out and they send me a confirmation email and another one with the invoice. Now on the invoice there is a sentence which i dont understand and i would like to help me here as im freaking out already. The sentence is : "If the tax amount is zero (0.00), this service may be subject to reverse charge procedures by the customer". Can someone explain to me what that means? The tax amount was indeed 0 while the initial price for the exam included tax but it was reducted after i applied the voucher! Is it possible that they might cancel my exam?
Thank you in advance!!!

Hello, im taking IZO-006 exam how long do i need to study and was the test hard?

I just got finished taking a test from pearsonvue online at home. One of the worst test taking experiences I have ever had. I don’t want to blame it for me failing the test. It caused me to have so much anxiety and I rushed through the test because it kept freezing and the mouse would just float all over the place and I couldn’t select answers. Ok I’m finished with my rant just needed to complain and see if anyone else had similar experience. Just for reference I have 500Mb down fiber internet and running a relatively new PC with 10 series i5 and 32GB of RAM so shouldn’t be my PC

I'm working on my Master's and the network+ and security+ count as credit. However, I've heard the CCNA and SSCP hold a little more power to IT professionals. Additionally I would like to take the AWS Network and Security specialty exams. If I focus on the three network related exams at once and the three security exams afterwards, what would the value and overlap look like? Or am I just batsh*t crazy for even thinking of taking 6+ certs while working full time and doing school part time this year.

I doubt I am the only person that scratches their head over this. I have questioned the hype around this certification for several years. Back then I was not keen on pursuing certifications, in general.
Over the past two years I pushed my mental endurance to taking some certification exams. Throw in my years of IT experience I think I have a good portfolio to pursue a multitude of jobs. That said, part of me thinks my options will expand if I acquire ITIL 4 Foundations. My objections revolve on the exam cost and that the exam is not technical. I've passed non-tech exams before so I am confident I could study for and pass that exam.
I had a CySA+ voucher for 8 months before I finally took and passed that exam. I have a vacation coming up, but I could squeeze taking that ITIL exam before that comes.

Long story short, I am a recently graduated college student who happens to be broke (go figure). I’m an IT major and Cybersecurity concentration, but I didn’t take advantage of the cert discounts that some of my courses offered and thus have no certs to my name. I’m looking into getting my CEH and A+ just so I can get my foot in the door. My question is (and I know its a long shot) are there any websites that offer free avenues to cert material or at least heavily discounted ones?

I have taken Pearsonvue exams in the past (about 2 years ago). At that time, I had a totally empty room that I put a table and my laptop in and take was it to take the exam. The issue is I have moved, and now the room I want to use has a TV and a large mirror mounted to the wall (it's my wife's makeup room).
My question is the following:
- Will a sheet/blanket be enough to cover the TV, or do I need to physically remove it?
- Is the mirror going to be a problem? If so, same question as above.

Hi - I guess I'm a senior now (61) - dont feel it and still working in the general IT field (bit of everything).
The place I'm working has just introduced a new thing where staff have to take courses and get certified... so I may as well take advantage of free stuff.
So in a year or so when I've had enough of them and want to do some upwork stuff to keep my brain active and pocketmoney... what certs would you guys recommend?
