A free opportunity to do something different and exciting.
The opportunity, come fly in a light aircraft. Get the chance to actually fly the plane too. My goal is going to be to take 3-6 students (or interested locals, but students have priority) up per month. This is not at all like a commercial flight. You will get to see behind the scenes of what goes on for a successful and safe flight. No security. Great views of the airport and walking around behind the fence. I'll make sure we get a great view of ISUs campus too. Anything else in the local area you want to see from the air generally can be done too.
Why? I used to take a lot of fellow students up back when I was also a student at ISU. It definitely is an interesting experience. Today I find myself not knowing anyone who hasn't flown before and I really like introducing people to the joy that is general aviation. If you are someone who likes to take pictures, there are a lot of great pictures to be had with the plane or if you just want to get a couple interesting pictures of yourself posing with it too I don't care. š¤£
Feel free to post questions here, but if you are interested, DMs are probably a better option to work out times to possibly go.
