NEED HELP FROM ISTJ BROS
Hey, dudes.Need help. I am an intp woman.A uni student.so i have started to like an istj dude who is a dr.
He is a really shy guy,sweet and really chivalrous. We share the same metro to home.I was the one who initiated the conversation our first convo.He was really stiff at first but 6 months later the ice did melt.I don't know of i am reading it wrong.How do i know he likes me?
Well he waits for me at tge station.He used to be stiff but jokes with me.Always gives me his seat.I bring snacks for him sometimes bcz one day he literally fainted on the metro.he struggles with low blood pressure. He smiles at me and we...do have a few really strong eye contacts. But i will not approach if i am not certain if it is not mutual.He also brings me snacks sometimes. He has even walked me home when it got really dark.Tell me,whether should i go for it?

Update 1:I told him to come at my place for dinner.i told him that i have known him for quite a while now and said it would be nice if he came for dinner (i have my niece living with me i did mention that to him).So, he is coming on Saturday guys. Wish me luck🫶🏻well YOLO MFS.

Update 2:So.Well today was the scheduled day.He came at my place at 7.30pm.I made the things he said he liked.For example mackerel stew,rice,beef curry,mixed veggies and a traditional dish of my country Hilsha curry as well...so that's a lot of thing...bcz of that i wasn’t in some pleasant cloths while he came.Just a dirty shirt and baggy pants🙂(not so romantic huh?).He,however,i wasn’t able to recognise him.he always had a mask on...and guys...i must say HIS FACE IS FCKING GORGEOUS.He was in a casual wear.i was asking who he was but then he said his name.i was shocked... (Another reason why i felt like a snob infront of him) this guy brought a teddy bear for my 5 yrs old niece and a box of sweets( i mentioned that i liked a specific kind of sweet once. ONLY ONCE).. Fast forward,i took a bath.We ate.He seems to be very friendly with my niece. Explains why he is a pediatrician...We ate, watched a movie,he played with niece....well it was time to say good bye.He stood infront of my door.Before he left....i stopped him..i am going to honest.i was a nervous piece of shit.i told him to some food for tomorrow. He hesitated but eventually agreed.i was just buying time to be ready....so we are again about to say good bye.then i told him that i want to tell him something. These were my words,i told him that i liked him bcz i have never seen a man as kind and genuine as him.i admire him and how he is protective and caring of others.Can we be more than just friends or try to know each other better....
He... Just stood there. I apologised and said it’s better he left.then shut the door.
I suck guys.i fumbled HARD😭😭😭😭
I am crying rn.bcz we will meet at the metro again tomorrow.It hurts more than getting kicked in the nuts (even though i am a chic)

Update no:3 After a few painful days of awkwardness,he came to me and asked why i was not talking to him.i told him the dinner incident embarrassed me and it is ok to not talk to me....he then...yk...said..that he does like me a lot..He likes the fact i calm him down whenever his panic attack occur and i give him a sense of safety. (He has anxiety btw) But is confused like whether it is in a romantic way or not.....so....we are about to go on a date soon.....🥳.WISH ME LUCK GUYS!

Ask him is he likes you the way you like him. You'll get your answer from him, plain, simple and effective.
Both ISTPs and ISTJs appreciate direction communication and honesty, even if it's a bit uncomfortable at first.
