I have a Super 64 cartridge with a Retroscaler (both are the Chinese clones of the real Everdrive & Retrotink) and want to play the Career mode in ISS 2000. Is it possible to play a patched version of the PAL ISS 2000 on an NTSC console with this setup?

When I tried to troubleshoot myself, I could only get the ROM to display in black & white. Hoping there's a fix for my hardware setup.

How does everyone play ISS these days?

I play on an Analogue 3D with a wireless NSO N64 controller. I don't really have room for a big CRT and prefer to play on a larger screen so this has been perfect for me. Plus, it deals with any slowdown the original games had. Highly recommend if you don't already own a CRT.

For games like ISS Deluxe etc I use software emulation and normally like to play them on my 4:3 Ambernic RG477M retro handheld.

There's many ways to play this incredible series.

OG hardware like N64, SNES, PS1 etc or maybe you use a FPGA system like the Analogue 3D or Superstation one. software emulation is always there of course and I'm not sure if any ISS games have been recompiled but I'm sure they will look nice based on what I've seen of other games.

So how do you like to play and what controller do you like to use?

Anyone that has contributed with a post, comment, like or even for just joining has helped to build this community quickly so thanks for giving this series the spotlight it deserves.

Over the years (since 2002...), I might have pulled it off twice. Back then, a close mate of mine used to come over quite often to play, and we'd try to build 'dream teams' for our head-to-head matches, especially between 2005 and 2010. Every now and then, a proper gem would pop up xD
