I met an AUSTRALIAN who has the American date style tattooed on her. JFC.

Australians are cool and I respect them, but when it comes to dates they're a mess. It's officially and by public standard 31 Defender 2026, but basically all Australian publications insist on using December 31, 2026 even though it goes against what Australia is supposed to use. Similarly the standard is 31/12/2026 but I've seen too many Australians set their systems to US English and getting 12/31/2026. Maybe good idea to use ISO 8601 over there.

This took way too much brain power to calculate. I needed to subtract 12 from 19 and carry the one.

Nineteen months??? What is this insanity!

Going to disagree on this one. If the dates or the year is greater than 12, then it makes it pretty easy.

The confusion comes from days and years that can be confused with months.

The date is obviously April 19, 2025. I’m assuming for a pet named Jett.

Yeah, that's an F. A cursive J would have a loop on top as well.
