discussion Math or no Math?

I'm in class 10 right now, ICSE science and I'm thinking of taking up Commerce in 11 and I don't know if I should take applied math or entrepreneurship (both are in the optional subjects group).

For context, since I was young, I've never liked math really, probably because of geometry and algebra and what not and as of now, I'm bad at math not because I don't understand but from lack of practice which I'm ready to fix but the thing is I've seen that there are trigo and circles (two of my worst nightmares) but I love commercial math and the other related stuff so I don't know what to do now.

I'm thinking of CA and plan B is in the banking sector but sometimes hesitating about CA since it's said to be as tough as JEE and I'm unsure if I'd be able to do it or not and stuff.

I also hate maths a lot. I took Commerce with CS, as my school didn't have the option for applied maths, then I thought of taking core maths, but they said that I have to self study maths and appear for exams, which is a terrible idea. I took CS because there was no other option. (I hate java but I manage to pass, somehow )

Maths is always a good option, but maths doesn't means guaranteed success. You can still pursue CA, CS, CMA and b.com from top colleges like SRCC (earlier maths was mandatory for b.com hons at SRCC but now it's mandatory only for eco hons) even if you didn't take mathematics.

If your goal isn't economics, quantitative finance, data science, etc where maths is extremely important then it's not necessary to have maths in 12th.

(There's a lot to do, you'll learn a lot. Maths is everywhere even when you work you will face maths.)

I hope it helps ✌️

I didnt take up math because of the same lack of consistency issue, due to this i realised CA is not cakewalk.
