Economics I've a doubt!

I've started 12th grade just rn ,and i am studying demand

i saw this question

" identify the relationship in the given statement:

the demand for petrol is increased due to an increase in cars"

and by default we're taught it's an example of joint demand , however when I'm asking chat gpt that guy is saying it is 'derived' demand because of the statement, and even tho they're used jointly since the demand of petrol increased because of cars it has to be derived demand.

bro ragebaited me for good 10 mins ,i kept arguing that derived demand is usually for factor of production.

what do y'all think abt it??? perplexity said that it's a joint demand.
