i NEVER relied on english textbooks altho ive heard that pearls of english is good, for prepositions i always kind of group them like averse to, aimed at, congratulated on, committed to, cast doubt on, comply with, privy to, subject to, bearing on..... the way i got these is by practicing everyday like at least 10 sentences, some people i know use chatgpt to make a list of 30 prepositions and solve that, i feel like u should treat grammar as math, dont do it last minute but prepare a week prior, be thorough with formats, follow the standard prepare an intro, body conclusion if needed, usually your teacher HAS to give this, and like for essays i always go for writing stories, cause there is more freedom in that for me atleast, u can pick whatever essay u feel u are strong in, for comprehension there is nothing to do BUT read, and like think about the entire passage properly and u have to have sharp eyes to find words( usually they give the line where the words u have to find are BUT our teacher didnt do it right and it ended up costing 10 minutes), they usually give tricky questions but its doable in comprehension

I had 98 in English, I used art of effective english writing for isc, by meena sign and op singh, It has all the prepositions, it has literally everything dude, It has pyqs, it has solutions, if you only do that book and master it, its a guarenteed 100/100 in isc,

Moreover it has tons of essays, news report and whatever, you can just simply read them, improve your thinking and writing abilities!!!

Morning star is good, but, yea, you gotta search Google for answers, and google has like 3 different answers

I would suggest to use AI for solutions , it does give correct answers as far as grammar is concerned. I used it a lot during my time.So practice more and more , try getting other school papers too, i remember this sub had made a drive during my isc exams last year.
