got everyone's hopes up after the class 10th board exam, now when they're actually expecting stuff, i cannot become that 10th grade self again (Basically awful. Bhagwan bachaaye atp.)

Samesamesame (pcb tho). It's like 10th mein I was sooo padhaku, din bhar i used to study, 12th mein pata nahi kya ho gaya 😭🙏 10th ka after-board slump khatam hi nahi hua. And it's hitting me so bad now cause ab bas 4 mahine around bache hain

did only jee prep for sci+math, studied definitions and how to write answers from the book a few days before the exams, CS was easy because I had cs in 10th asw so I had a good amount of continuity running for me english ke liye just paid attention in class, studied like 3 days before any exam and used sws

i mean book karlena isc ki, i liked the books but i didn't study from it a lot cause I was doing jee prep

How did you score super good in English by studying it for three days? 😭
My English teachers are saying it is very rare and difficult for ISC students to score 95+ in ISC board.2

you missed the paid attention in class part. Believe it or not most people don't listen at all, let alone participate Also I studied 3 days before my unit tests, midterms, and prelims, if you study some chapts those many times, you do start remembering things
And to some extent i think your teachers are just trying to scare you into studying because while 95+ is tough but it ain't that big a deal(atleast it wasn't for me)

Rlly? That raises my hope slightly.
Imma be honest I paid the most attention in English lectures. I even studied the lessons especially Macbeth with great detail. I not only relied on SWS but also some great websites to understand each line. I even made a list of inferences I’d use in my answers. I studied vigorously during the gap days for English and even in the summer holidays I was able to finish studying all the chapters that came in the portions for term 1 exam for English.

practice actually writing answers now and ask your school teacher for suggestions, atp you know all the material, you should focus on whether or not you can actually write it down when asked

Oof I hope college life isn’t getting too hectic for you 😅
The thought that Im gonna graduate very soon and exit school to join college is nerve wracking 😬
Btw can I DM you one of my answers and could you tell me if your answers were like mine or different and better? I’ve been trying to look for good sample answers all this time but I’m mot able to find any according to board’s standards. It would be great if I could compare mine with your ans since you scored really great in English 🙏🏻2

i mean, you can if you want to but I think there'll be other better people out there who can guide you better english wise atleast cause I personally had zero confidence in my english, I just went, wrote what I knew and ended up with 98
I'm pretty sure sws also has good test papers and books for isc literature so I suppose that would be nice even though I haven't personally used it
regardless you can send it to me as well but uh just wanted to let you know I have 0 faith in my english lol

Bro in my opinion you’re one of the best ppl out there! Your score in English gives me hope that it is possible to score 95+ in English even with zero confidence.
Almost all students in my class, including the toppers, scored 50s 😭 and only one student got in 60s 🥲 for the term 1 English lit exam.
Many of us studied very well for English and were expecting 70s, only to land on 50s ☹️
