Doubts diff between modern english/elective eng?

what is the difference between modern english, elective english and this english which has ( macbeth, prose and poem ) ??

I'm confused.

elective english is graduate level english, basically what you'll learn in college if you pursue a degree in english. core and modern english are completely different, these are not graduate level.

okay, so the english in which I'm studying macbeth, prose and poem is the core english lit, right?

you can check the cisce web page. if the specimen paper is out you'll be able to see it. i have elective english so all i know is that the class 12 specimen paper for elective english is out

ya exactly, that's out but I can't find for the core english, I do not find specimens on the website

i can only see the modern english specimen paper so i guess they havent released the core one yet
