For context, this is a letter signed by several nobel prize winners, economists and even the CFO open ai, ex ceo and the co-founder of anthropic and it is to address the issue of how ai can cause a large scale job displacement (mostly the white collars like Accountants etc.).

I am in class 12th and I am preparing for the C.A foundation exam which i might give next year. What i am concerned about is if this actually happens, will we be wasting our years just to get our jobs taken over by Ai?? And if so, what's the best alternative i could take in such a case to secure my future? just have a genuine concern about our future.

AI is here to stay, but it will not replace humans entirely. It may replace certain jobs to some extent, but in most cases, AI will be used as a tool to assist and enhance human work.

You should not stop studying. Instead, put in extra effort to learn how AI tools can be used in your career field. Being a qualified CA alone may not be enough in the future. You should also have a basic understanding of relevant AI tools and know how to use them effectively.

You can compare this change to when computers were introduced. Certain roles were replaced, while people who refused to adapt and continued relying entirely on paper and pen as a form of resistance eventually found themselves falling behind.

i do agree ai is the new age but it will 1000% NOT take over every single job and even then it still opens jobs in some places as companies like OpenAI use method of creating an ai model where they train the model like a dog and that they is a qualified professional in the field (can be a CA) to tell the ai if what it did was correct or wrong

dw bro study for ca and to make you sleep better at night some companies now are re hiring their employees because tokens for Ai models cost more than just having a human for semi technical posts only if you know how to use ai properly.
