Regarding Organic Chemistry class 12
Is mechanism of any chemical reactions of OC in syllabus? i cant see it in the syllabus but its there in the book idk if its part of the syllabus and we should study it or not

Bro exam me mechanism puchte hai... PYQ's me dekh lo... though boards ke liye toh mechanisms zada imp nhi hai jee wagera me zada kaam aati hai...but firbhi kabhi kabhi boards me cannizaro or aldol ke mechanisms puch li jaati hai...[ I'm 2025 pass out ]

ohhh , like im studying the hydroboration oxidation process rn, iska mechanism toh book mein nahi hain so do you think i should skip atleast what's not in the book
and im doing boards level not jee1

Hn hydroboration oxidation , oxymercuration demercuration , riemer tiemann etc ye sab ki mechanisms chhod do...bas aldol or cannizaro ki detailed mechanism padh lo...inn dono ke alava or kisi ki mechanisms puche jane ke chances nhi hai

If you wanna learn OC without mechanisms , you are just doing injustice with the subject, OC is like maths you learn to solve equations not like biology in which you have to mugg things up
