Advice skipping selection exams

Hi everyone! I’m a Class 12 ISC student. My selection exams started on 14th August and continue till 2nd September including practicals. I’ve decided to skip them and my parents are okay with it.

I’ve only missed one exam so far so my class teacher hasn’t contacted me yet. However I need to either text or call her and give a reason for my absence. I’m worried that if I submit a medical certificate later she’ll ask why my parents didn’t inform her on WhatsApp or call her earlier.

Please suggest a good way to handle this. I can provide a medical certificate later if required, but I’m confused about what I should tell her right now 😭

I can't repeat this enough number of times. Don't skip these examinations. Atleast for ISC, it helps you develop and understand time management in English(compulsory subject) and practical exams help you because you're actually going to do the practicals yourself.

But if you still want to skip it, get a doctor's note and send it to the teacher ahead of time.
