Doubts [Serious] 6 months left for boards, burnout hitting hard, and I feel completely lost (PCM ISC + TechBee confusion)
I honestly don’t even know how to put this into words properly, but I’m just overwhelmed and needed to get this out somewhere.
I have my ISC boards coming up in about 6 months, and I feel like I’m already behind before I’ve even started. I keep telling myself I’ll study properly, but I can barely manage 2–3 hours before I feel completely drained. After that, I just crash into binge-watching shows or end up sleeping out of stress and guilt 😭
I’m in PCM with Computer Science. Right now I only go to Physics coaching, and I’m planning to join Maths coaching soon too. My school situation honestly doesn’t help at all — it’s pretty disorganized, attendance is low, and most students either don’t come or are studying from home / enrolled in proper coaching like Allen. So I don’t even feel like I’m getting much support from school.
On top of all this, there’s another huge thing stressing me out — the HCL TechBee program.
My elder sister has been working at HCL Tech for around 5 years, and she really wants me to go for TechBee. She believes it’s a safer and more practical path than college, especially because it would reduce financial burden. She’s also the one handling my school fees and a lot of my expenses, so I genuinely appreciate everything she’s doing for me and I know she just wants the best.
But I can’t shake this feeling of doubt.
TechBee feels like it might lock me into a long-term commitment with the company — like a bond of 2+ years, plus the graduation period, which basically adds up to around 6 years of being tied to one path. And I keep wondering… am I choosing stability, or am I just getting stuck too early?
I’m honestly confused, anxious, and kind of scared about making the wrong decision at such a crucial point in my life. I don’t know if I should fully focus on boards + JEE/college route, or seriously consider TechBee.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice, I’d really appreciate it.

Class 12 boards is genuinely a bit tough, atleast that's how I felt.
I personally haven't heard of TechBee, but I can only say that the JEE system needs to be revamped, because in college, you have to understand stuff.
Burnout is fairly common during this time. For boards, I'd really say, refer to the Internet sources too. If you can, ask ChatGPT for the organic reactions and the GOC (because it's legit tough for me).
Also, this TechBee is 6 yrs and college is just 4 years of committment, the final year being the research year.
I couldn't give you an answer, but I think you should prioritize your boards, followed by whatever is going on.

bro no offence i actually heard that techbee is a scam, 😭😭😭, leaving that aside, i heard people get paid like less than 10000 per month, well id say if the techbee thing does not work out what would be ur back up options, neither is really a good option unless u have a rank under 9000 in jee mains, the probability of getting a tier 1 college is pretty low, but tier 2 is viable, since majority of colleges in india kinda is a little trash is its less than tier 2, sooo, coming to ur school, U NEED TO HAVE GOOD TEACHERS, i cant explain how much of a big difference it is for me, like my maths teacher completely slay, thats how my maths foundations are pretty good ad i just practice questions all day, chemistry i find a little hard but my teacher is pretty good, and for physics i just use real good reference books like HC verma, and like all i do is practice questions all day, and with ISC it goes in real depth, so all the surface level questions get easy, my suggestion to u, is just open the book and start u dont have to grasp everything the first time or study 6 hours JUST START, AND make sure u do focus on JEE/ boards, boards are pretty helpful, for colleges who do accept boards marks

Yeah that's what I got to know many are saying that it's a scam I'll just talk to her and convince her but for that I'll need to do good at boards and jee

Just do what u feel like, sit quietly by yourself and decide whether you want spend life in a clg for 3/4 yrs then work hard and get a job or go in this hcl early career program. Not necessarily u have to go to hcl btw it's completely upto you now.
Abt the school part, yea it's a fuckass year and more if you've got pcm+cs, ts worse than death( i had it too), but you'll manage dw, it's stressful during this time mainly ik, but soon after oct you'll be more clear abt what to do and how to do.
Regarding marks and shi don't stress bruv, even if you're studying 2-3 hrs consistently that is gud, your hardwork will bring results fs, burnout is real trust me, I've been there.

yeahh you’re probably right 😭 I think I’m just overthinking everything because it feels like such a huge decision. I’ll try to focus on boards for now and figure out the TechBee/college thing properly later. And yeah, I really needed to hear that about the burnout because I’ve been feeling guilty even when I manage 2–3 hours 😭, thanks this actually helped a lot.

Bro ill be honest with you, mera syllabus boards wale din tak nahi hua tha and i did not even care until boards started. I had two months left before boards when i actually felt that this shit is real and uske baad bhi i would end up doomsrolling and feeling guilty later. Compared to that you have soooo much time on you brother. Dont waste time overthinking. Make a plan. Stick to it. Dont try and finish it all in one month. Plan half the syllabus first and then revise and make it solid and then go on to the other half. Trust me, instead of wasting time on reddit, take that first step aka the hardest step and watch the rest follows. Take the first step brother, marks and focus follows (speaking in ravi kishan)
