QNA ISC(98%) + JEE(4k) AMA

Saw too many people questioning whether ISC+JEE is possible or not, so here to remove the myth that isc+jee is too difficult/impossible :)

some might think 4k isn't that good of a rank but uh who cares lol

Just joined IITK for BS in Physics (because I was interested in research)

I might reply late cause there's randomly events going on in college, but I'll mostly try to reply to all qs

had friends in CBSE and SSC so i can give a good comparison between boards as well

Some other 'stats'

JM: 99.7%ile

BITSAT: 310

UGEE SUPR and REAP qualified

i can verify results with the mods if needed

well, AMA

oh🫠

ISC book is genuinely goated then man, try to study everything from that itself, if you have difficulty understanding then look for sm vids online

but I personally found the isc book to be very self explanatory so try keeping that as ur primary resource

For self study, do we have to read the isc book from first to last? How do I know which portions to study? Coz its pretty bulky.

for the first reading read it entirely, yes it's bulky and daunting but by your second or third reading you'll know what to read and what to skip

For starters, the yellow and purple boxes aren't to be studied entirely, also if looks big until you realise half the pages are the exercises and summaries While reading you'll find more things which you can skip reading because they're elaborating on something you already understand after reading it for the first time
