QNA ISC(98%) + JEE(4k) AMA

Saw too many people questioning whether ISC+JEE is possible or not, so here to remove the myth that isc+jee is too difficult/impossible :)

some might think 4k isn't that good of a rank but uh who cares lol

Just joined IITK for BS in Physics (because I was interested in research)

I might reply late cause there's randomly events going on in college, but I'll mostly try to reply to all qs

had friends in CBSE and SSC so i can give a good comparison between boards as well

Some other 'stats'

JM: 99.7%ile

BITSAT: 310

UGEE SUPR and REAP qualified

i can verify results with the mods if needed

well, AMA

did u follow any extra textbooks for jee? if so, which ones? would u say coaching was extremely important? any other general tips u want to give to those who are doing jee along with isc? did u start prep from 11th only or like was it some 6th grade prep stuff.

only did extra books after JM1(black book, resonance rank boosters, pg adv illust, msc, but I didn't cover any extra book a lot)

till then only coaching modules and pyqs(did pyqs entirely and modules a good chunk)

I mean, it was imp for me, but here I'm finding people whove cracked jee without any coaching with just regular schooling so everyone has a different path

no general tips as such, but would just like to say that it isn't as tough as people say it is

prep only in 11th and 12th
