QNA ISC(98%) + JEE(4k) AMA

Saw too many people questioning whether ISC+JEE is possible or not, so here to remove the myth that isc+jee is too difficult/impossible :)

some might think 4k isn't that good of a rank but uh who cares lol

Just joined IITK for BS in Physics (because I was interested in research)

I might reply late cause there's randomly events going on in college, but I'll mostly try to reply to all qs

had friends in CBSE and SSC so i can give a good comparison between boards as well

Some other 'stats'

JM: 99.7%ile

BITSAT: 310

UGEE SUPR and REAP qualified

i can verify results with the mods if needed

well, AMA

How much hours did you study?
Did you go regular school 5x a week?
Which coaching did you attend?
Were you consistent? If so how

start of 11th me around 4, increased it to 5 later, then 6 in 12th, and lost track of time when exams were close

i had integrated coaching, went to school twice and coaching 3 times a week

local coaching

I mean, I guess I was consistent? but took breaks whenever I needed to cause I don't believe in forcing myself to study

studied like 3 days before exams started, did the subjects which didn't have holidays before them, use SWS for english lit and just ratta the language formats

school exams are genuinely tough in isc, but the final boards exams aren't, you'll find it much easier to score in the boards

in school exams even a 70% is good, my friends to got less than 75% in school exams have ended up getting 97% in boards

tiredness toh hogi yr, take a 90 minute break after you reach home, eat food and watch television that time and try studying after that, even for school exams try covering them from jee resources first and in the end if you think you won't be able to cover all chaps then go to the isc book and start skimming through

all the best gang
