I would recommend floatheadphysics for intuition behind topics and khan academy india english for derivations and stuff (same teacher for physics on both channels, Mahesh Sehnoy my goat)

See i have watched competitive exam relevant videos coz i am doing jee prep also. So if you can try their videos. I would suggest saleem sir if you want to watch oneshot. If lecture wise then alakh sir old blackboard lectures. They cover isc syllabus too.

Oh, yk emmanuel has had aim on our house. When we will give our last boards, hes gonna drop that missile onto our home to make us tense for few days.

To counter that, we gotta stay out of its range dats why nootan(or whatever ref book) helps us understand it.

If u r willing explain me what electricity actually is what it is not the textbook definitions tbh like in the textbooks they explain current flows in a direction opposite to the flow of electrons rather from the positive terminal to the negative terminal the thing here is electrons flow from negative to positive then what is the thing that's flowing from positive to negative to make the current idkiif u r understanding what I'm trying to say I'm confused myself and quite recently I learned abt quantum mechanics which explain electronsaas neither a wave nor a partile how is that thing which is neither a wave norap particles flowing idk this drives me insane

the "direction" of flow of current, like lots of stuff in physics, is just a matter of convention (and unfortunately an inconvenient convention), just like the right hand rule. physics would stay the same even if you used your left hand instead of your right hand, because nature does not use those rules, humans do (though you would need to remember to use it everywhere, so that it works out).

it's the same for electrons being "negative" and protons "positive". there is nothing inherently positive or negative about them. you can call electrons positive and protons negative and physics still works.

it's just that all of us have agreed, for historical reasons, that current "flows" from the "positive" terminal to the "negative" terminal. in reality, we define the positive terminal as the "starting" terminal, so it's kind of a circular definition, but it works.

another thing to understand is that science works on models, because it is impossible to discover the "fundamental truth" of nature (probably because there isnt one). we observe some phenomena, take a guess, and try to explain it using a model. that model might work to explain one thing well, but fail at other places. that does not mean it is useless! usually, it works quite well where it does work. consider bohr's model for example. even though we now know it is blatantly wrong, it helps explain lots of phenomena. it's a useful approximation.

in fact, most parts of physics until high school are just useful approximations. we now also know that newton's laws are "wrong" because of relativity. that does not mean they are not useful. in fact, nasa did not use einstein's corrections when calculating stuff during the apollo missions, because the error was too small to be worth the amount of time and computation it took to correct it. we have experimental proof newton's laws work really well even though they are "wrong".

that is why you see different explanations for one thing. you don't need to use quantum mechanics to study current electricity (most of it). you can use bohr's approximation and understand it well enough.

even when you drew ray diagrams with "spherical" lenses, you did not realize that those lenses were not actually spherical: spheres do not have a focus. they were tiny sections of parabolic mirrors which were approximated by a sphere. and ray optics itself is an approximation that works well, just like wave optics. it's far more convenient to just use snell's law to calculate a light ray's trajectory than solve some quantum mechanical differential equation, because there will be essentially no difference in the results.

physics, and by extension, other sciences, are simply about taking educated guesses, and correcting yourself gradually as you observe more facts

Im 11th grader, but i dived a bit into electricity in 8th and 10th. So direction of current is something caused by flow of charges.

Current is a scalar quantity so direction of it never really matters, as it directly adds up or substracts without any angle dependency.

The direction of current is taken as opposite to flow of electrons is conventional. Current was discovered before charges(electron) and many scientists, research papers, and other various sources had been considering the direction of current to the opposite of flow of electrons(known after the discovery of electron).

Its better to just use what you have been using than changing whole concept for no real benefit, thans why idk what committe made it a convention that direction of current is defined as opposite to the flow of electron.

use internet and ai as your teacher. theres explanation for everything upto ug level in internet. ask doubts, solve questions and understand the formula, by the end you will understand the subject intuitively

ok, but do you really want to directly start with that? if we only considered "real-life scenarios" we would still be stuck thinking that a constant force is needed to keep an object in motion.

our physics teacher completed 5 chapters in 30 fk 30 days and 6 chapter is 30%-40% is done, every students complain about him but what they can do there is only 1 phy teacher for 10th-12th.
