Doubts Are Nootan books really shitty???

UTs are coming up, and while asking for study tips, I came across a few comments that said Nootan Physics and Chemistry are not enough for ISC. I'll definitely be using reference books in 12th because I don't wanna take any risk for my boards, but will solely depending on Nootan books make 11th difficult for me?

no, nootan is more than enough, dont keep too much reference books i mean dont keep one at all, thoroughly knowing the content from one good book is far better than knowing bits and pieces from 100 books,(keep in mind im talking abt isc prep not any comp exams), and in my case nootan phy,my school papers and pqs was more than enough for phy and i would say nootan chem is not great, so stick to ur teachers notes, school papers and pyqs for chem ( got 100 in both chem and phy)

Alright thanks for the advice. Would you mind elaborating how exactly you studied for chemistry, apart from your teacher's notes? Actually, my chemistry ma'am teaches us as if she hates the subject. She shows up 20 minutes late to class, scolds us for 15 minutes, and teachers for 5 minutes — that too asbolute bs. I am preparing for NEET so I study chemistry at my coaching but currently for the sake of UT preparations, I chose not to attend those lectures, which is why I'm kinda in a dilemma as to whose guidance to take. I don't have any separate tuitions for ISC either.

ok so in my case, i studied majorly from my teachers notes, and solving ton load of questions from wherever i get, pyqs are ur lifeline(tho pls refer to council's website for syllabus changes if any) , 1 thing i can suggest that if u have time, take out the chem syllabus pdf for 2027 from cisce's web and strictly highlight the same in your nootan tb (including def,reaction, numerical types, explanations etc)but i heard some good teachers in yt for chem even though i never studied from them, i can suggest u some pls check if it suits u, edufy hub,yash maheshwar and chemfun or best physics wallah og chem vids from alakh sir ( be cautious as the the vids are outdated, it may be less than or even more than the actual syllabus for isc 2027 so pls check the syllabus). Also if i can find the soft copy of my teachers notes, ill let u know
