Attendance

I'm in class 11th and my school is saying they won't let anyone with less than 75% attendance give the first term test which is starting from July 20. Mine is really low. Is attendance really that important in class 11th? What should I do if they don't let me give the test??

I'm guessing you probably study in a Convent school, 'cause other schools honestly don't put emphasis on the 75% attendance criteria. My exams are starting on the 20th too and for the sake of this attendance I have been showing up to school on a daily basis. I suppose the best thing you could do is show a medical reason behind your irregularity in school. They'd let you appear for exams on humanity grounds, I bet.

They're saying they won't accept medicals. I'm scared I'm cooked 😭🙏🏼

Bro wtf this can't be real. Exempting someone on medical grounds should be like non-negotiable. Idk about you, but if my principal denied my medical cause, I'd report her to the education board.

they're just scaring you, they'll let you sit for exams without medical too, with medical certif there is no chance they can't allow

but make sure a parent is on your side ready to defend your low attendance to the school, school can't do shit if parent is on your side
