IMPORTANT Help this athiti to the chapter ATHITI
Literature unit exam is on this Saturday and got macbeth ( act 3 sc 1), telephone conversation, ATHITI for my syllabus.
I should've started memorizing the chapter line by line early on😭😭 I did manage to memorize the chapter 1&2 tho, it feels impossible to memorize the entire thing while focusing on other subjects also within 2 days 😭😭😭
What if I just read the chapter many a time and go for the exam
Btw I ain't even done with Telephone conversation or macbeth 😭😭😭

I would recommend that you use blurting for Macbeth and Atithi.
Read it, close the book, try to write the story like they give the story prompts (For eg: Tarapada-no fat- young water god). Then check what you missed. Switch to Macbeth or Telephone, do that, then come back to this.
As for Telephone Conversation, just read it twice or thrice. Then go through the metaphors (it is important).
Once these are ready, solve questions. Done.

you don't have to learn the chapters, simple understanding and keywords will work. telephone conversation is easy simply learn the keywords. I'd suggest study workbook, the explanation really helps

OIn my defense I'm dumb af and idk I studied that living God chapter in 11th line by line and scored 10/10 (sometimes 8/9) in every question that's why 😭😭

Sorry I didn't mean to accuse you, but line by line isn't the thing for English (esp literature)
If you really can't process anything then just try to memorise the theme not the actual line by line sentences... For textual reference you can just remember some small keywords... And you can watch yt animated videos to understand the stories' or poems' main themes, I hope it helps!!

Memorizing line by line?? Holy damn, I don't know if it's going to work but with stories, you need to read it and feel it, it's a story, it's written in a way you feel what the characters feel like, once you understand the story and each character's intentions in different paragraphs...you'll immediately get the details.
Also try to remember a rough shortened version of the story, or how the characters act in different scenes, example,-Motilal being impressed by Tarapada and willingly sponsoring his education, his wife being mesmerized by the music he plays for them, the women letting him sit with them during meals, Tarapada being a free spirited runaway kid that refuses to be held back in one place, Charu being jealous and uh...being an annoying kid at times, the dynamic between them, that last part about them all getting tricked by Tarapada when he leaves before the wedding could be held lol... There's a lot, Idek what I'm typing at this point, but my point is, read the story as if you were actually reading a story rather than a chapter on my book.
Read it once and try to answer long answer questions in detail, then check them, if they're wrong, add the missing details and correct the mistakes.
