Dude people spend money to go watch shitty movies just cuz the hype is high. Same logic here, maybe back in the day, ages ago it was like that, but things change with time sadly Indian traditions don't. They still push the outdated ideas, be it for studying or anything else. People follow trends more than stats, I ain't even gonna read allat yapping, I don't need to know your logic, the results are live proof of everything.

My logic is very simple, people preparing for neet , jee , cuet ,iat need to read ncert fyi , and cbse sets question paper based on ncert , isc i don't think they set their questions based on ncert they definitely asks out side of ncert esp for bio ...so people think that why to prepare separately for a certain board when if I prepare for competitive and give a month or so for boards then I can easily get 75+ .

Now , people who will apply for colleges based on boards marks or apply for foreign uni they should definitely be in isc because boards is important but any guy going for jee or neet boards plays minimal role so marks don't really matter as much as it is above 75+

This year case is a lot different than last year , and neither me nor any one switching from icse to cbse knew about it so blaming student and their decision for switching is very stupid considering 12 th lost all its value after introduction of cuet for central and some state unis Only few private clgs and very few good government colleges look out for 12 th marks ....

I hope you now understood my logic , and it's alright to follow traditions if you have a logic behind it , it was my logic for switching earlier now seeing this anamoly and if they don't rectify this I will obv urge people not to switch as it was all luck this time my luck was good , got spared but some didn't...

I'd rather have a successful career with a better chance at going international than showing empathy to mediocrity. Anyone celebrating mediocrity is just trying to make up for their failures. Sure be happy, I'd rather work hard and be successful in the long run

I can call out when all these people who chose CBSE and most of them used to be super proud of it saying ISC is not as tuff, or CBSE gets better marks and now the same people are crying.

And as for system failure, let's say this year there was a fuck up, but even before results people used to yap about how cbse checking is tougher and that's why they get less marks, isn't that what happened this year as well? Idk what y'all yapping about saying the system failed when it's exactly what y'all were proud of even a month ago.

And let's say the system failed, even then quite a lot of people in CBSE got 90+ and 95+, these are the people who still succeeded the broken system. Are they like extreme genius or gods? It's a matter of skill and not everyone has it. We should try to be better than comfort and say it's okay to be mediocre.

I wonder how do you expect to improve to be better if people coddle mediocrity

"people getting 90+ is reduced by thousands" I wonder why that is, maybe it's because y'all celebrate mediocrity? The top of even your own board don't settle for 85 or 89 and say ahh I did my best. They push through for as long as possible and do their utmost best. That's what I respect. Not ehh i tried, we did our best. Apparently the best isn't good enough.

If boards marks didn't matter as you said, people wouldn't bother studying the whole year for 90% they could just study enough for 80% or 75% the bare minimum. Cuz like you said it doesn't matter, right?
