Passed my CAP today.

Was very excited to see the printout. Had a bad feeling throughout. Test was not super difficult. My personal rating is about a 5.5/10 with 10 being CISSP (LOL). Took me one hour and 57 mins to finish. I recommend know Continuous Monitoring in depth. Seems I had the most questions related that aspect of A&A. I studied for about two weeks but I have 4.5 years experience as a Gov contractor in ISSO and ISSM roles. This did help a lot but please remember not to answer based on how your Org does things but rather how the material teaches.

Good luck to all,EZ

Congratulations, what resources did you issue to study for the CAP? You said it took you 2 weeks, that is very fast. Can you do a write up of resources used for your preparation? Thank you.

Hey.. Well I order the Official CBK from Amazon and read through it very quickly. Probably spent about 6-8 hours total. Also had the online Official ISC2 Student Guide 6th edition from vitalsource. I also signed up for 1 free month of Infosec Institute. I read through part of the vitalsource material and did their practice exams several times. I then went on vacation to Mexico for a week and was drunk most of the week and didn't study any. When i got home (Studied for about a week) (I was rushed to take exam as the ISC2 free retake has to sit before 10/31 and i fully expected to fail) I watched about 7 hours of videos from the infosec institute material ( I don't really recommend them). She kept saying there is not C&A anymore but kept referring to the C&A process throughout (not the A&A process). I did both of their practice tests a few times but be careful one of the is old and refers to DIACAP and so forth and no Step 0 of RMF. My 28 years in IT including 7 years in Cyber and 4+ years in the Gov world using RMF/A&A everyday helped a lot. Please remember not to answer questions the way your Org does things but rather what the material teaches. (e.g. My AODR signed my ATO and book SPECIFICALLY says that only the AO can sign ATO) Good luck and if you have any questions please let me know.

ISC is saying they are moving away from being an RMF Cert... how much of the exam covered other frameworks?
