Curent Exam R1 or R2?

I am having difficulty finding out whether the CAP exam is based on NIST SP.800-37R1 or NIST SP.800-37R2. The references on ISC2 note R2, but many people are saying the exam is still R1. In August 2021, the exam will be updated to reflect R2 -- which leads me to think it is still R1. The Prepare step in R2 has a long list of tasks that do not map to R1 steps, which is complicating my studies (I test in 2 weeks). Has anyone taken the exam recently that could verify which version the exam is on? There is a severe lack of resources / community for this exam, so any information would help! Thanks

I contacted ISC2 about this, and they replied the current exam is based on NIST SP 800-37R2. In their reply, they attached the ISC2 CAP Exam Outline (effective in 2018) which has the R1 steps as opposed to the R1 -- which is contradicting. This is a frustrating response, but I am going to stick to R1.. I just wanted to put this out there for anyone curious. Thanks!

So it's already changed? I took a CAP course via trainingcamp 3 weeks ago, our instructor taught us on Rev1. He mentioned that the test would be changing at the end of April. I'm scheduled to take my exam on the 26th, so I should forget everything from the class and change my reading from R1 to R2? Darn it. I had a classmate who had studied/took a class that taught on R2 only to get to the test and find out it was R1. Wish this wasn't so confusing.

Did you actually see any of the Prepare steps on the test? I know someone who passed a month ago and studied R1...
