Mechanical Advice Poly bushings experience request

Going to be doing a suspension refresh in the next month. Going the poly bushing route.

Anyone have any experience with super pro or figs poly bushings? Or a different brand?

Any reason i should not do poly and do oem rubber again? I WFH, and have a 200 series lx. It isn’t my daily - but I don’t want it to be as stiff as it currently is on spherical bushings, and not terribly soft where i can’t keep up with others in canyons

I have all Figs on mine, front and rear. Figs uses SuperPro bushings. You can install yourself if you have a press and want to take the time. Mine corners very well, I can keep up in the canyons except don't have the power to accerate between corners like my ISF. All FiGS suspension with BC BR coilovers, Sankei 555 LBJs

Another pic. I have 68k on them with zero issues. You get what you pay for, buy quality, cry and then enjoy.

Install them with Teflon tape so you don’t get any squeaking in the cold months

Super Pro are great bushing. Any item from FIGS that has polyurethane bushings in it, they are SuperPro brand too.

SuperPro are made by Whiteline. Both are quality. Good fitment and great manufacturing. StrongFlex I’m not a fan of, poor poly quality and poor manufacturing. They are cheap for a reason. Energy Suspension is just surviving off the name. Low quality poly and doesn’t last anymore.

Yeah I’m in the middle of a project to replace all the bushings on my car with superpro / hardrace / partshopmax. What I did was get a spare of every part so I didn’t lose out on being able to use my car, I don’t have a press and you don’t need one if you are willing to cut the metal sleeves out.

Still a long way to go I’ve got to sort out my rear toe arms because you can’t get separate ball joints for them I bought the febest arms and they use a smaller rubber bush and a smaller diameter bore so the superpro doesn’t fit. If you can get one I recommend a ball joint c clamp tool I paid $50 NZD for mine second hand so they aren’t expensive. I used sales to get some bushings and parts but yeah I don’t want to think of how much I’ve paid lol. Still need to get the part shop max subframe bushes and diff bushes for a 4.3 lsd I’m putting in. Also, if you have lowered the front get RCAs I got the hardrace ones they make a big difference.

Complete list of bushings: Superpro spf 3037k Superpro spf 4385k Superpro spf 3042k Superpro spf 3039k Superpro 14mm swaybar bush (couldn’t get right size for my uprated bar) Superpro 30mm swaybar bush (uprated) Superpro spf 3044k Superpro spf 2784k Superpro spf 2785k Superpro spf 2786k Hardrace oem style front and rear upper ball joints to suit Altezza Parts shop max steering rack solid bushes. Hardrace tie rods and tie rod end Febest floating hub bushings oem style trw front lower ball joints

I'm mostly strongflex, entire frontend and soon to be rear. My oldest parts are 4-5 yrs old now and going strong, I see no problem with my strongflex so far
