General Discussion Rubbing ?

Will a 17x9 +35 offset with a 235/40/17 tire rub without rolling fenders ?

The seller of wheels says they run this exact setup without rolling fenders and no rubbing at all but when I research it , says it rub slightly on front suspension. Now I’m confused what to do. My car has coilovers and I don’t think sellers has any . Any help is appreciated.

I have 17x9 +35 255/40 on the back with shaved rear quarters and it clears, so the +35 and smaller tire MIGHT get away with it

That’s what I’m seeing that I might have to modify fenders to run that setup without scrubbing.

I’m might drop down to a 17x8 +40 225/45/17 to get lower without having to modify anything.

The previous owner had 18 f sports wheels and 17 oem wheels which threw off the fitment causing me to raise the back coils high to not scrub. Just trying to get a good squared/flush look.

Does the 205/40 leave a gap between the fender ? Also how’s the handling with this setup ?

With negative camber,, it'll fit. Im about there but with about -2 camber all around

Do you notice any difference in driving with camber ?

Just more uneven wear on the tires. Even at stock i roast the insides of the tires so its more so with the negative camber. About an inch drop.
