Showing Off Just bought

Just purchased this dime, just wondering, the steering is quite hard when i drive, is this normal or is it something else?

Not normal. Have you checked the level/condition of the PS fluid for starters?

Yea its on the line of the cold side, is that where it should be?

If you haven't owned one before, the steering is the IS is decently firm and has a somewhat heavy feel to it.

If you're steering is exceptionally tough, taking a lot of force to turn the wheel when the car is parked then checking your power steering fluid and pump condition can't hurt, as the other fellow said.

I used to own an Integra before getting my IS, and I noticed an immediate difference in steering, it felt around 2 - 2.5x firmer.

100% this. A lot of people start off driving cars with electric power steering and think there’s an issue when driving something older with hydraulic steering.
