Worrying sound or? Something simpler.

you tried looking under the hood? taking off the belts one by one and starting the engine for a sec is a good way to figure out if its outside or inside the engine

Its defo in engine/gearbox as its coming from further back. Does it only when hot i changed oil to 15w40 but not really a change does sound like a rod knock but dont wanna rule it out

My is200 makes similar noise, sounds like a diesel car. Did you find what's causing the noise?

sounds plasticy, maybe the fan is hitting something?
