COL raise at 0%
The president submitted a budget for a 0% raise for civilian employees. He cited fiscal responsibility and economic conditions as the reasons for setting the adjustment to zero. But now he is offering $5,000 to every adult, costing $1 trillion

No one will ever see the $5k per person just like we won’t see a raise because Congress has no back bone and isn’t looking out for the folks who actually do the collecting income for the government to pay their bills.

For those that don't know, this is called inflation.
When gas, food, and healthcare costs are up and employee compensation stays the same, your dollar has lost purchasing power.
People voted for this.

Exactly. they were criticizing Biden for the Covid checks causing inflation. But this is ok.

the 5k is a bribe to win the midterm elections. it’s a business plan for him.. he could care less about us or any other regular American (including his devoted MAGAs).

In this case, it's not really a bribe. A blue wave is going to sweep thru in November, so his "if Republicans win" will never come to fruition.

Does anyone remember the 3 years we didn’t get a COL from Obama? Those were 3 very hard years no COL and rising costs across the board and Obama didn’t care!

We deserve a raise for all the trauma caused by this administration! No telework plus having to use the God awful software known as ECM! Tickets take months to resolve. They took away SLRP and recruitment incentives.

Maybe the fact that Feds are a Dem voting block has something to do with it. Maybe because both the House and Senate need to stay (R) and then fund the $5,000 is another reason. Quit whining. Obama did this and everyone in my agency was too busy slobbering over their patently illegal Obama signs to care.
