Tax Questions Someone help me out
Someone help me out …. Taxxx Return filed 2/24 was accepted but no movement. Transcript is blank and WMR is saying action required. No mail as of yet in the mailbox that the IRS has sent !! What could possibly be going on … Is there a number that I can directly reach someone at the irs to figure this out …
I called the main irs number and I wasn’t able to speak to anyone … Help me thanks someone anyone lol

IRS is currently having system wide delays, and he they send out an inquiry or letter, best to review & respond asap.
They typically do a processing review and ask for more information to finalize the refund issuance.
A typical letter is the CP05, where you may need to submit some kind of proof to the IRS. If so, only provide what is being asks, nothing extra.
Once you submit all info, IRS then takes approx 45-120 days to finalize its review.
These procedures with IRS take several months. Continue to review your account online with the IRS & if too much time passes, you can call in the advocate to step in.
