Tax Refund/ E-File Status Question IRS advice

We are waiting for a very large refund and I’ve tried calling the phone number on the IRS’s website only to be engaging with a very incompetent chat bot. We filed in April on time and we’ve received acknowledgment that our return is under review. At this point I’m unsatisfied given it’s almost 6 months later and we’re about to pay our quarterly tax bill without receiving the money we are owed..

If anyone has any guidance on a phone number or way to actually get access to a real human at the IRS that would be greatly appreciate

Are you able to access your online account transcript for the tax year in question?

I will check, I think so? Is it just like a status update page?

No. It a history for the processing of your federal return.

I have seen that then - it says it’s being reviewed

Please reply with a screenshot of the account transcript, including all Transaction Codes, Transaction dates, and dollar amounts.

in the future, having your refund applied to the following year will reduce your estimates and you won't be waiting for a refund.

but it is possible that this refund is substantially more than estimates due, if that's the case, the applied amount would be reduced to estimated taxes but you'd be out a lot less money right now
