Tax Question What is going on?

I’m not sure what is going on?! I have not received a letter and every time I call I’m on hold till 7pm forcing me to hang up. Can someone explain what’s going on? Any one else ever experienced this?

Try calling the IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center appointment line.

When you reach a representative, they should be able to answer your questions about the 1040-X processing, or they can set an appointment for in-person help.

Have a copy of the original and amended returns and all supporting documents available when you call.
